Baggage and Animals

Hazardous Goods

The transportation of hazardous goods is subject to strict regulations. Here, you can obtain information if you plan to travel with sporting firearms or ammunition.

Please note the following

Smart Baggage

Smart Baggages have a range of features such as GPS tracker, power banks and scales. All these features are powered with a lithium battery.

The current IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations do not allow these suitcases as checked baggage. If you can remove the lithium battery from the baggage you may carry them in your carry-on baggage. Please be aware that only two pieces of Lithium spare batteries per person are allowed.

We allow smart baggage as carry-on baggage, as long as the max. dimensions and weight are considered.

What items and substances are considered hazardous?

Pointed or sharp objects such as knives or scissors are not allowed in your hand baggage! Please note the separate provisions for hand baggage.

Batteries from portable electronic devices incl. medical equipment (each person is limited to 10 portable electronic devices)
