Hamburg Airport: ver.di trade union strike on February 13, 2025

The trade union ver.di has called on its members in various areas at Hamburg Airport to take part in an all-day warning strike on Thursday, February 13, 2025. The warning strike will begin locally at 00:00 CET on Wednesday night and is planned for the entire Thursday. There may therefore be delays in travel and at the airport throughout the day due to the strike.

Condor flights will take place as planned. Late-night check-in on the evening before, February 13, 2025, will not be available for flights on February 14, 2025, due to the warning strike.

As the effects at the airport are not yet fully foreseeable, all guests are asked to keep up to date with their flight status. In addition, all passengers are asked to allow sufficient lead time, but to arrive at check-in at least three hours before departure.

You can find information about your Condor flight status here.

Here you can access the website of Hamburg Airport with current information.

Insolvency FTI on June 3, 2024

The tour operator FTI filed for insolvency on June 3, 2024 and canceled trips. The brands affected are FTI Touristik Germany, Austria, Switzerland, BigXtra, FTI Voyages and FTI Reizen. Like all other airlines, Condor is not allowed to transport travelers who have booked a now canceled package tour with one of the above-mentioned FTI brands to their vacation destination. Please contact FTI directly if you have any questions about your upcoming trip.

However, all guests can take their booked return flight as normal, even if the trip was canceled by FTI. If the return flight is rebooked by the guest, for example to an earlier date, the regular ticket price will apply.

FTI has set up a support website for customers and a support hotline at +49 (0) 89 / 710 45 14 98, where all further information, including information on claims to the German Travel Security Fund (DRSF), is available.
