Christmas Trees

Christmas trees up to 100 cm (39.3 in) in height are transported free of charge. Christmas trees that are 101 cm (39.7 in) or taller are transported at the excess baggage rate applicable at the time. In addition, trees must also meet the following criteria for transport:

• The tree may not be taller than 180 cm (70.7 in)
• It must be portable, and packed in a net without any root balls.
• It must have a valid health certificate (depending on the destination), which can be obtained from the local Plant Protection Office (Pflanzenschutzdienst) in the respective federal state.
• It must be registered before the flight with the Condor Special Reservations service
